Why you need a writer
If your experience with blogging, content creation, and article writing has left you overwhelmed and your audience “underwhelmed,” then you’re in the right place!
We all know that CONTENT is a vital part of our marketing success…
We all know that we need more ARTICLES…
We all know that we need to BLOG more regularly…
But who has the time? Or the energy? Or the focus?
And while doing it yourself is very tempting, is it worth taking valuable time from the tasks most important to your site, your business, or your family?
If someone reads it, are they going to subscribe to and share your content, enroll in your program, or purchase your product?
Would you be proud enough to let your colleagues, current customers, or friends and family read it in a newsletter?
Probably not.
So why waste your time and energy doing it yourself and pinching pennies, when you’re losing time and opportunity?
If you want rich, engaging, and entertaining content for your website, blog, magazine, or newsletter contact me today!
And let’s position your reputation and your brand where it should be, at the top.
I look forward to helping you get your message, products, and services heard.
A little about me
Over the past 10 years I’ve developed a wide variety of communication skills through some of the roles I’ve served. I’ve honed my communication skills through writing, interviewing, and being interviewed.
I’ve honed my persuasive communication skills through direct and corporate sales roles. I’ve learned to engage an audience through teaching and coaching. More recently I’ve began to fine tune those skills through participation Toastmasters, expected to receive Competent Communicator Award by the end of this year, and the Competent Leader Award in the Spring of 2015.
My time is mainly focused on writing, creating video and audio content, and speaking. I’m a regular contributor to several well-known and award winning sites like Tony Dungy’s All Pro Dad, Disney’s Babble, Black and Married with Kids, the NFL’s USA Football , and Coach Up.
Here are some highlights of work through my platform:
- I’ve been featured on national news sites HuffPost Live and Yahoo! Shine.
- I was interviewed and exclusively featured by New York Times best-selling author, Michael Hyatt, in his video series, Your Platform Makeover.
- I was an official speaker at an Indianapolis Colts sponsored event for All Pro Dad.
- My list of interviewees includes two NFL Super Bowl Champions, an NBA Hall of Famer, two NBA Champions, an MLB World Series champion and Hall of Famer, and an Olympic gold medalist.
- I was a speaker at the National Conference for BDPA (Black Data Processing Associates)
I’ve written two eBooks, 13 Ways to Change Your Life, and The Family Leader Manifesto, as well as created the 7 Rings of Marriage. I’ve been happily married to my wife, Stephana, since June of 2001.
We have one daughter and two sons. We live in Indianapolis, Indiana. In my free time, I enjoy dating my wife, coaching my kids sports team, running, and playing basketball.

What people are saying
I love Jackie’s message! I’ve met him in real life, and he is the real deal! Smart guy, great writer, and big heart.
–Jeff Goins, Author, Blogger, Speaker, GoinsWriter.com
I’ve long been a fan of both Jackie’s writing AND his outlook on life. Jackie has the same positive “everyone’s a winner” attitude that I saw in Coach Tony Dungy. Jackie has the same heart and respect for everyone as Coach Dungy, and the man can write to boot!
I always come away from Jackie’s writings with a positive feeling, like I can do anything, because I know Jackie’s cheering for me to do great work. He’s a great writer whose positive attitude shines through whatever he’s working on, whether it’s for him or for a client. I’m proud to know him and to work with him.
–Erik Deckers, Author, Speaker, Owner/VP of Creative Services, Professional Blog Service
Jackie, your blog is the only blog written by a male that I regularly read. Usually I just read mommy blogs. 🙂 But I love to read your blog because it is so encouraging. You make me want to stretch myself to be better. Thanks for writing and congratulations!
–Adrianna, homeschool mom
Jackie is a clear-thinking, inspiring person who cares deeply for people -beginning with his family. His writing is cogent and accessible for readers of all ages. Given the dearth of integrity that permeates the blogosphere, Jackie’s inspirational messages are truly a breath of fresh air. There is no pretense or pomp, just personal musings that tend toward a universal appeal. Anyone – of any demographic – who peruses Jackie’s blog will be better for it. I am proud to count him as a friend.
–Larry Smith, founder/CEO at Leading Edge Advisory Firm (LEAF), LLC
I’ve seen this happening, Jackie! People look up to you for encouragement, for solutions, for a bit of inspiration — you’re the one who advances, and people often need to be reminded that adversity can be used as a grindstone to make you sharper. Good thinking!
–Eleni Poulakou, writer/blogger at WritersWritingWords.com
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jackie for about 3 years now. Jackie’s belief in the importance of family, faith, and doing business with morals and conviction is evident from the get go.
Whether it’s his company Wear for Change, his blog, or any of the other businesses Jackie has been, is or will be involved you can be sure that Jackie will be a partner that you can be proud to be associated. Clients will receive prompt attention and will receive Jackie’s best efforts.
I’m proud to call Jackie a friend and look forward to working on projects with him myself in the near future.
–Brian Bodenhamer, Sales Associate at Pristine Sun
Jackie is an excellent writer! I really appreciate his transparency. He is a family man, a hard worker, and a strong Christian. Jackie you rock!
-Christie Herron, CEO/Certified Etiquette Consultant with Excellence with Etiquette
Jackie is an extremely motivated and passionate individual that loves to help people. I worked with him briefly when he first looked into one of his businesses, and he was a class act and a joy to work with on the project. I see that his blog is getting a large bit of traction and it is no surprise to me. Jackie is in his wheelhouse with his blog.
