Do You REALLY Believe in Yourself?

You can’t do that…you aren’t good enough…you’ll never be successful…what makes you think that will work…you don’t have enough money, talent, connections…that has never been done before…you are making a BIG mistake.” – Naysayers

Throughout your life you will meet many people, naysayers, who think and say negative things about you. It is inevitable.  They will discourage you, if you let them.  They will keep you from following your passions, if you let them.  They will make you doubt yourself, if you let them.  I say…DON’T LET THEM!

Below is a video of a guy who had many naysayers, but it didn’t matter.  His belief in himself mattered more, and his belief in himself helped him achieve more.  When you really believe in yourself, you don’t let discouraging words keep you from pursuing your dreams and following your passions.  When you really believe in yourself, you have no doubt about what you can accomplish.  When you really believe in yourself, your actions follow.  Do you really believe in yourself?

Question: What are you doing today, that shows you really believe in yourself?  Please share in the comment section below.

  1. I’m writing inspiring comments and blog posts that share my views with other writers. I also share encouragement daily. We ALL need it. I hate to go around preaching at people so I tend to lead by example. Waking up with a smile, looking at the positive, never putting others down, and giving 110% to whatever I’m involved in. When people tell me I can’t, I look them right in the eye and say, “Maybe YOU can’t, but you’ve given up. I can do WHATEVER I put my mind to.” Inspiring post. I love that you try to say something with your blog! Keep it up and WRITE ON!

  2. So true!  And, if you listen to the negative voices in your head (which somehow always manage to sound like relatives or non-friends) you just keep yourself from your Best You!  Believing is Seeing!  You rock!  Thank you for this post!
