Since March 2011 at 6:30AM every single morning, the leaders of my church have been hosting a prayer call for all who want to join in. We call it the “Fresh Fire” Prayer Call, and it has been a true model of consistency and a blessing for me and my family.« Continue »
Whiteboard Quote of the Day: “Do One More”
What can you do to get the most out of whatever you are working on? How can you ensure that you have done everything possible to reach a goal? I remember when I first began weight training in high school (years ago), our coaches, or the person spotting me, would often encourage me to “Do One More“.« Continue »
Whiteboard Quote of the Day – Don’t Be This Guy…Be Encouraging
en•cour•age = Adjective: give support, confidence, or hope to (someone)
I consider myself someone who encourages people. I actually believe that is one the gifts God has given me…the gift of encouragement. Whiteboard Quote of the Day: What Needs to be Done…Right Now?
How often are you distracted by the many things going on around you? Do you easily lose focus while in the middle of something? I will be honest and say I can answer both of those questions with “a lot” and “yes“. Remaining in a pattern like that can kill your productivity, damage your relationships, and leave you having unfulfilled days (which lead to unfilled weeks…and months…and years!).« Continue »
Whiteboard Quote of the Day – Your Competition is Preparing TODAY!
Over the past few weeks I have been really focused on my work ethic, and how that more than talent itself determines how successful you or I can be. I grew up playing sports competitively, played through college, and still play today. One thing that still resonates with me from sports is that there is always somebody practicing, training, and preparing to be better and to beat you.« Continue »
