A Battle Cry for Whole-Life Leadership
Helping Men Become Better Husbands and Fathers
Men are born to be leaders. Throughout our lives, we strive to be the captain of the football team…student body president…manager at the job…even CEO or owner of our own business.
We work hard to be great leaders “out there” in the world. We take pride in all our accomplishments. But at times we find ourselves feeling unbalanced and incomplete. We hope our wives look at us with admiration. We pray our children are proud to call us Daddy.
Deep down we know there’s something missing “in here,” at home.
A Reminder, From One Husband and Father to Another
I have a burning belief when men step into their most important roles, families are healed and strengthened. Strong, healthy families have a powerful impact on all of society.
That’s why I wrote The Family Leader’s Manifesto.
This little book will:
- Remind you who you were designed and called to be as husband and dad
- Explain why your leadership is crucial – both for the well-being of your family as well as your own personal growth
- Encourage you to realize that you are not alone in this battle, and
- Describe the 3-step plan you can use to G.E.T. better as a man and a leader

The relevance and timeliness of your message seems prophetic. It really validates what I’ve been feeling since some major life events took me to my knees last year. I really appreciate your compassionate plea and call to action, that men step into their most important role—the family leader.
Jackie is a leader among writers in the area of family leadership today. His writing is very transparent and inspirational, but most importantly, it challenges men to settle for nothing but their best as husbands and fathers.

I write letters to my daughter and son often. I write them, seal them in an envelope and put a date way into the future or a special event on the envelope to let me them know when to open them. The Family Manifesto is going into my 18 month old sons box of letters in an envelope labelled; “When you get engaged, read this.”
