The year 2013 is coming to an end. I can honestly say it has been a great year. The year started with a lot of uncertainty, and a lot has changed since the beginning. Hopefully you can say your year was great too. If it wasn’t you can still start fresh beginning tomorrow morning as we say goodbye 2013 and welcome 2014!
I’m cleaning the cob webs off my web site today. Although I’ve been very busy I haven’t posted on my blog in over a month. You may not have noticed because I have been writing, and writing, and writing all over the place. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to write, and for other people and organizations to trust me to write for them.
Evernote, my all-time favorite app is at it again! If you have followed my blog, you know Evernote is my go-to app for everything. It is the connection to my brain and all the info that goes in and out. Well, now they have added Evernote Reminders to make it even better.
Like most people, I have a bucket list. I am so incredibly grateful that I actually get to scratch something else from mine. I ran my first 5K!

Memorial Day weekend is here. This weekend typically marks the start of the summer vacation season, but Memorial Day is much more than that.
My goal is to make my blog more relevant to your needs and interests. To do that, I need to know more about YOU. So, I have created my Reader Survey.
The Presidential Inauguration and MLK Day all wrapped into one. Today, is a pretty historic day. Being that we are a homeschooling family we try to use opportunities like this as learning opportunities. So we’ll enjoy learning about our nation’s process of swearing in president’s every four years, as well as the importance of the day that it falls on.
I joined about 1,000 other people yesterday in a month-long blogging challenge. It is called the Ultimate Blog Challenge (UBC). This will be my second time taking the UBC. The last time I went through it I met lots of new people and more people began to read my blog. I am expecting more of the same this time around.
I was born, raised, and currently reside in Indiana, so this next statement may be a bit biased, but it is true. Indiana people and organizations come up with some of the most creative, savvy, and just plain interesting ways to support the causes they are passionate about. I guess when you are from Indiana you find creative ways to put your time, talent, and treasure to use for good.
