Today, is the day! It’s Christmas in September for me. 🙂 For the past month I’ve been working with Michael Hyatt and his Platform University team on some changes to my brand, my website, and my overall online platform.
To say I’ve been feeling like a kid waiting on Christmas morning is the understatement of the year! I was up at 3:15am today. I’m excited, elated, and ecstatic to reveal my new site for you all to see!
My blogging journey started over 2.5 years ago. I had no idea what would really come from it. I had high hopes, but there is no way I could be certain what the real results would be. All I know is I was frustrated with where I was, and some of the struggles I was having as a husband and a father.
Last month, I launched my 2014 Reader Survey. It’s the second time I’ve done this, and just like the first time it has provided very valuable feedback. It’s so valuable as it benefits you by helping me understand more about how I can best help you through my blog.
I’m looking forward to doing a workshop on using social media for career advancement at the BDPA National Conference in Indianapolis.

I’ve been blogging for almost three years. I didn’t know exactly what was going to be the result, but I can say I’m pleased with my experience so far. And very excited about what is to come.
My family has been a big part of my blogging. First, they make up most of my subject matter. My wife will occasionally edit some of my posts (when she doesn’t you can see the difference!). And of course, they pose for tons of pictures. 🙂
The year 2013 is coming to an end. I can honestly say it has been a great year. The year started with a lot of uncertainty, and a lot has changed since the beginning. Hopefully you can say your year was great too. If it wasn’t you can still start fresh beginning tomorrow morning as we say goodbye 2013 and welcome 2014!
I’m cleaning the cob webs off my web site today. Although I’ve been very busy I haven’t posted on my blog in over a month. You may not have noticed because I have been writing, and writing, and writing all over the place. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to write, and for other people and organizations to trust me to write for them.
I recently wrote a post about what happens when you love your work. Great things happen when you love what you do, and use it to help other people. I shared with my Facebook friends and followers yesterday that I had an exciting announcement coming today. The post ended with a clue, this quote…
Evernote, my all-time favorite app is at it again! If you have followed my blog, you know Evernote is my go-to app for everything. It is the connection to my brain and all the info that goes in and out. Well, now they have added Evernote Reminders to make it even better.
Memorial Day weekend is here. This weekend typically marks the start of the summer vacation season, but Memorial Day is much more than that.
